CHARTERED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGISTS
Joelle is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with more than 29 years’ experience working in the field of adult psychological therapy. She has worked in the NHS for many years, and has been in private practice since 2001.
Joelle is qualified to treat a broad spectrum of psychological problems ranging from the mild to the severe. She is trained to make use of a number of psychotherapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Joelle specialises in trauma-related difficulties and is currently in the process of obtaining full accreditation as an EMDR therapist. She also has an interest in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and short- and longer- term Psychodynamic Therapy.
Murray Small is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has specialised in working with children and adolescents since 1996.
Murray offers psychological treatment to adolescents and young adults using a range of techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psycho-dynamic approaches and EMDR.
He carries out a large number of assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Murray worked within the NHS for 11 years, and was head of the Department of Psychology, Bromley Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Oxleas NHS Trust. He has run a private practice for children, adolescents and young adults since 1998.
Murray currently splits his time between his private practice and working in a local special needs school for children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
In my spare time I practice Ju Jitsu, play cricket and take long walks in the countryside.
